IAFF 2067 Union Officer Election
May 8, 2008
- There will be a Ballot Box Vote for the election of Union Officers on June 25, 26, & 27, 2008. This election is in accordance with Article 5 of the Local 2067 Constitution & By-Laws. There shall be no voting by proxy in the election of Local officers (Article 5, Section 5). The office of President shall serve a two-year term while the Executive Board shall serve a one-year term. Please post this memo on your Station union bulletin board for sign up. You will have until June 22 to sign up in order for ballots to be prepared.June 24, 2007 - The following members have been declared elected to Executive Board Office in compliance with Article 5, Section 1-8 of the IAFF Local Union Constitution & By-Laws. These Executive Board Office terms shall become effective July 1, 2007. All Executive Board Officials shall hold office for one year except for the Secretary/ Treasurer, which will be a two-year term. (According to Article 5, Section 5 of the by-laws: "If there is only one candidate for a given office, such candidate shall be declared elected".) The end result of the election is as follows:
