Minutes have been posted from the recent July 14 & 15, 2008 Union Meeting. Bobby Anderson was NOT present at either meeting and therefore was disqualified from accepting the $125.00 Door Prize. The "pot" moves to an unprecedented $150.00 at the next meeting! (Union Meeting...)

The following agenda is for the next two-shift Union Meeting to be held September 20-21, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. The meetings will be held at the Mid-Town Plaza, 300 West Gray Street, Lower Level, Conference Room.

Motion to accept Treasurer’s Report.
Motion by Steve Lewis 2nd by Frank Crawley

- Update on Cookbook Committee.
No motion made. Tabled until 2005. - Discuss and possibly take action on Seniority Point
accumulation.
Motion to form a committee to study a point system to advance those that compete on promotional tests. Motion by Steve Lewis, 2nd by Frank Crawley.
8 for 5 against 2 abstain Motion passes. - Discuss and possibly take action on our new membership in
the Central Oklahoma Labor Federation (AFL-CIO). Our membership
is entitled to two delegates.
No motion made. - Discuss and possibly take action on a set dollar amount for
each donation request involving groups or individuals outside
the City of Norman. This includes a budgeted dollar amount to
begin the fiscal year in which outside donations would be drawn
from.
Motion to set dollar amount for yearly Charitable Donations at 25%, ($1250), of total fundraising monies for outside Cleveland County Donations. Motion by Frank Crawley, 2nd by Keith Nelson.

No motion made. - Discuss and possibly take action on developing some IAFF Local 2067 tee shirts, sweatshirts, polo shirts, etc that can be sold by the Union to its members and friends.

*A $50 Door Prize WAS at stake. Fortunately for those who have been in attendance and who's name was not pulled from the hat, the stakes just got BIGGER! This meeting drew out the name of "Mike Beringer"! He was not in attendance at either meeting and therefore is not eligible to take home the door prize.
