Union Meeting

This the scheduled two-shift Union Meeting was held on September 20th & 21st, 2005 at 7:00p.m. at the Mid-Town Plaza, 330 West Gray Street, Lower level, conference room. (The Door Prize had returned to $50.00 and Mark Castell would have won the $50 door prize had he been present at one of the meetings. Again, you must be present at one of the meetings to win.) Next door prize will be raised to $75.00.

2. Discuss and possibly take action on making a formal request to the City of Norman to remodel Station #5.
   Motion to present letter of concern on Station #5 issues to be approved by Executive Board before presentation.

3. Discuss and possibly take action on changing the protest period in the contract from "a seven day protest period will follow the Practical Factor Test or final selection procedure" to only a three day protest period.
   Motion for Union President to present in Consultation a protest Period change from 7 days to 3 working or business days following promotional tests.
   Motion by Bob Bledsoe 2nd by Chad Roney

4. Discuss and possibly take action on having uncles and aunts added to the contract as immediate family members.
   Motion to add uncles and aunts as immediate family members to the contract in FY 07 Negotiations.

5. Discuss and possibly take action on the storage, restoration, and use of the antique fire "clown" truck.
   Motion to form Committee to explore storage and restoration of Clown Truck.

6. Update on the results of our Hurricane Relief Benefit Car Wash.
