Minutes have been posted from the recent July 14 & 15, 2008 Union Meeting. Bobby Anderson was NOT present at either meeting and therefore was disqualified from accepting the $125.00 Door Prize. The "pot" moves to an unprecedented $150.00 at the next meeting! (Union Meeting...)

Health Insurance - Married Couples
The incorrect method the City uses in charging Married couples, both working for the City of Norman, in relation to Insurance Premiums is DROPPED.
February 18, 2005 - As the Arbitration date of today approached, and in conjunction with conversations with the IAFF2067 Union attorney dealing with this issue, and as it dealt directly with concerns connected to the attempt to finalized this issue as it relates to other settlements that the FOP & AFSCME bargaining groups had/have with the City of Norman, it was felt this issue had seen it's last day being argued on its own merit before an arbitrator. While the Union maintains this issue will continue to support other arguments as they appear in front of the IAFF in relevance to future "health insurance" matters, it was better handled as a "non-issue" at present and therefore DROPPED as a Grievance.
