Committee Disbanded at First Meeting
September 21, 2009 - Due to an apparent 'lack of interest' in both the attendance of those initially signing up to participate in this committee [to get the program off the ground] and recent feedback from those who would take advantage of the program, members making the effort to attend also made a decision to forgo the work in organizing, maintaining, and researching plans to give away the $1000.00 in rewards [sponsored by the IAFF Local 2067 and the Norman Fire Department] to those willing to participate.
A secondary plan to use the 'rewards' in other ways is currently being discussed.
